Selected as a Grantee for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Project to Promote Corporate the Use Sustainable fuel of Air and Marine Transport to reduce GHG Scope3 emissions”.

We are pleased to announce that our company has been selected for the third consecutive year as one of the grantees under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's “Project to Promote Corporate the Use Sustainable fuel of Air and Marine Transport to reduce GHG Scope3 emissions”.

This program, run by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, aims to reduce CO₂ emissions in the logistics category of Scope 3 GHG emissions from companies. Since fiscal year 2024, the program has provided subsidies to cover the additional costs of using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in air cargo transport. For this year, a biofuel used in marine cargo transport, has been newly added as an eligible fuel. The portions of SAF and biofuel used in cargo transport that are implemented through freight forwarders selected under this program are eligible for the subsidy.

We will utilize this subsidy program to promote international cargo transport using sustainable fuels, expand the use of SAF and biofuel, and contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society on a global scale.
