Flow of export air cargo

Below is a general flow of air freight from Japan to overseas.

Delivery of goods

Cargo are delivered in our export terminal in either of the following ways.

  • ・By our truck arrangement
  • ・By customer arrangement

Packing

Packs goods to prevent breakage during transportation.

  • ・Pallet packing, Wooden packing, or Steel packing
  • ・Packing by UN standard for dangerous goods

Devlier into export terrminal

Delivers goods into export terminal.

Weighting/Labeling

To book a space for the flight, the size and weight are measured
and a special lable with an AWB* number isput on the cargo.

Customs/Declaration

Declaration of export to customs by NACCS system. Cargo will be divided to simple examination dealings,
document examination dealings or inspection dealings. Our customs staffs make the cargo acceptable.

Carring into airlines' export terminal

After getting permission to export, the cargo goods are moved into the airlines' export terminal.

Palletizing with ULD*

Load and mix cargo up into the ULD*
In some cases, goods are loaded into bulk space.

Loading to the aircraft

Cargo are loaded to the aircraft an hour before the departure.

Departure

Depart to overseas.

Flow of import air cargo

Below is a general flow of air freight from overseas to Japan.

Arrival of the flight

The flight with import cargo arrives from overseas to Japan.

Moving into
the airlines' import terminal

Carries the ULD* containing cargo into the airlines' import terminal.

Matching cargo up

After unloading goods from ULD, the items are chedked for breakage
and counted to match with the numbers listed on the AWB*.

Customs/Declaration

Reports items to the customs. Depending on the request from the customs,
document review and inspection are taken place.
After paying taxes (tarrif and consumption tax), the cargo will have approval of import.

Carrying out from import termial

Takes out and receives goods from the airlines' import terminal.

Delivery

Delivers by a charter truck that you can specify delivery time or by a reasonable mixed consolidation truck.
