General flow of customs clearance

Receiving documents
We receive customs documents from customers.（Inovoices, packing lists, licenses, certificate of non-applicability, product catalog, etc.）

Check of contraband goods
We check if there is any contraband goods on the Customs Act.

Check other related laws
We also check other appricable laws than the Customs Act.（Export Trade Control Order, Food Sanitation Law, Drugs, Cosmetics and Medical Instruments Act, Act on Quarantine for Imported and Exported Plants, etc.）

Declaration
We declare to customs.(product name, volume, price and country of origin)

Inspection
We inspect the cargo as necessary.(customs inspections for document and cargo)

Tax payment（In case of Import）
We pay customs duties.(import duties, import consumption duties)

Permission
We obtain permission to import cargo to Japan, and export cargo from Japan.
