In line with "K" LINE's policies, the entire Group works as one, collaborating to achieve shared targets.

Promotion System for Sustainability

Our promotion system for sustainability ensures more effective implementation by establishing a dedicated department to clarify accountability and by establishing a system to address diverse themes in collaboration with relevant departments.

Specifically, we have established a Corporate Sustainability Committee to determine management policies and drive sustainability initiatives throughout the company.

This committee is chaired by the managing executive officer in charge of the General Affairs and Human Resources Department, with the head of that department serving as vice chair. It leads company-wide sustainability initiatives and makes strategic decisions.

We have also established a Corporate Sustainability Section as a subsidiary organization of the committee to build an organized sustainability promotion system.
In addition to dedicated staff, the Sustainability Office also includes staff from each department responsible for the materialities (material topics) identified by the Company. They participate as members of the sustainability promotion team, planning, reviewing, and implementing specific measures based on the committee's policies.

Progress and results of these measures are reported to the committee on a regular basis, supporting unified, company-wide efforts.

Going forward, we will continue to further strengthen this system, and further drive our initiatives toward the realization of a sustainable society.
